"I attended the summer intensive at your school for two weeks. I had an amazing time, I learned so much and it made me look at dance in whole new light.  Thanks you so much, I'll see you next year!"

"We came up last week from Philadelphia.  Thank you for a wonderful week at your school."

"This was my daughters second year in the summer program offered at your school - this experience has made Nicole realize how much there is to learn about dance and that it truly is an art that she intends on pursuing.  Simply put - Thank You"

Junior ages 10-12

This program is for young dancers that excel technically with the passion, desire and dedication to pursue serious dance training.  Intensive ballet and modern (Horton and Limon techniques are introduced) along with training in and exposure to many other genes of dance.

Senior ages 13 - Adult

Artists will strengthen and hone in their skills while experiencing the practices and principles needed for success as today’s dancer.  Encouraged to develop the versatility to perform a range of work each student is nourished with first-hand knowledge from experienced industry professionals.  Ideal for the student curious about dance as a career.

Pre-Professional ages 16 – Adult

Students considering dance at the college and professional level are immersed in the both the artistic and technical practices required by today’s leading universities, choreographers and companies. Our passionate faculty guides and encourages each student to discover their artistic soul and career goals. With an emphasis on both concert and entertainment agendas MOVES is a unique opportunity to explore the possibilities.

Performance Program

Available to students registered for 2 weeks in Senior or Pre-Professional divisions  "Dance Art" is our philosophy with the goal to display these works as often as possible.  Summer Intensive participants may now display their art and gain valuable performance experience by auditioning to work with our talented choreographers on the creation of new repertoire.  The Performance Program will begin rehearsals in the afternoons throughout the first week and continue through the second.  These new works will be presented Friday and Saturday August 8  & 9 at 8:00 p.m. in conjunction with the company summer benefit concert.
