Junior
ages 10-12
This
program is for young dancers that excel technically with the
passion, desire and dedication to pursue serious dance training.
Intensive ballet and modern (Horton and Limon techniques
are introduced) along with training in and exposure to many
other genes of dance.

Senior
ages 13 - Adult
Artists
will strengthen and hone in their skills while experiencing the
practices and principles needed for success as today’s dancer.
Encouraged to develop the
versatility to perform a range of work each student is nourished
with first-hand
knowledge from experienced industry professionals.
Ideal for
the
student curious about dance as a career.
Pre-Professional
ages 16 – Adult
Students
considering dance at the college and professional level are
immersed
in
the both the artistic and technical practices required by
today’s leading
universities,
choreographers and companies. Our passionate faculty guides
and
encourages each student to discover their artistic soul and
career goals. With an
emphasis on both concert and entertainment agendas MOVES is a
unique
opportunity to explore the possibilities.

Performance
Program
Available
to students registered for 2 weeks in Senior or Pre-Professional
divisions
"Dance Art" is our philosophy with the goal to
display these works
as
often as possible. Summer
Intensive participants may now display their art and gain
valuable
performance experience by auditioning to work with our talented choreographers
on the creation of new repertoire.
The Performance
Program
will begin rehearsals in the afternoons throughout the first
week
and
continue through the second.
These new works will be presented Friday and
Saturday August 8 &
9 at 8:00 p.m. in conjunction with the company
summer benefit concert.
Educators
welcome
Teachers
may travel from room to room observing all classes. Teachers
wishing
to dance must register for a 1 week minimum.

2008 The GOLD School hosted more than 220 dancers from Michigan, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and throughout New England for the mind body soul summer intensive.
